I am trying to do a thing and post every day! We'll see how that goes!

So the follow-up to the 7th grade boy who let slip he watches Teen Wolf is thus:

Me: So who's your favorite character?

Him: Ummm….ummmm….well, I guess Scott!

Me: Scott is really awesome.

Him: Actually, Allison. Yeah, Allison, she’s the BEST ( Read more... )

Sounds like a war zone over there! But in a fun, interesting way.

I *love* that this kid's favorite character is a girl. From what I've read that's pretty rare (then again, some of those researches drive me crazy with their stupidity, so) - and on a show that has options! And it sounds like it wasn't even a gender-based choice, she was just his favorite character. That is *awesome*.

Hey, Stiles is cool, but Lydia might be my favorite

True Alpha - Aha! So there is a fan out there who gives a fuck about that! I wasn't sure that existed.

I think it must be so much fun to be this kid, watching this show and just enjoying the hell out of it

Aww... yeah... I was just talking with a friend about us not being as excited about spending hours at book stores anymore. Still love them, I still feel at home and wanna play and so forth, but I also know that chances of me finding things I'm truly excited about are close to nothing. I read a whole lot these days, but I get most all of it online, or sometimes as the uni library (they don't have most of what I need either). When I was a kid, I'd read almost anything. Going to the library was awesome, I know I'd find something I'd wanna read, almost completely for sure. I found so much pleasure in so many things. Today it's like that online, often, but not at book stores, usually. Anyway. Tangent. Yes, I get the feeling ...

a girl told me out of the blue, "I never have anything to say when someone asks me if I've done something really horrible." I asked her, "...Do many...people ask you that?" She said, "No, but I'd like to be prepared."

This is wonderful. Has to go in some book.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! I didn't get to grill him on it, but he genuinely seemed to like her as a person, or at least not just because she's hot! ONE FOR THE GOOD GUYS. \O/

I was thinking along those lines about the fair rides, recently. How I used to love going on at least a handful and now it's like...eh. I'd have to wait in line, I'd be surrounded by teenagers, just, ehh. But it still feels like I'm missing out, somehow. ://
