Insanely pretty. We saw it at sunset and then in the morning drove back to see it again--it's literally on the main drag, SO PRETTY.

My reference buddy just came back from Iceland and she said that was the best part. Your pictures are much better -- she had horizontal rain that day, so it wasn't looking quite as good as with the late afternoon light. Or possibly the noonday light. :)

Oh dang. We had THE BEST weather in Iceland--our first day was the first sunny day Reykjavik had had ALL SUMMER, and after that it was varying degrees of sunny or cloudy. We didn't get rain until we were at the airport headed home, and even then it was just sprinkling.

Really really really hella lucky.
