What's On the Table by cortue: John/Harold (Person of Interest). In which Harold has perfected the boring, unmemorable date, which is helping him NOT AT ALL in his sort of accidental wooing of John. Freaking adorable, very clever and in character, did I mention adorable? Because yes. ALSO CREPES.
A More Subtle Trap by giddygeek: John/Harold (Person of Interest). Fffffffffffffffffffffffffnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnghhhhhh. Um. So. This hit a lot of my buttons and there isn't even sex in it so. Competency kink, mild d/s flavorings, no one knows who's wooing who and just. YEAH.

We Should Get Jerseys (Cause We Make A Good Team) by svmadelyn: Kaner/Tazer (hockey). Omfg I loved every single second of this. In which Sharpy decides he needs a plan more sophisticated than just banging their heads together to get these two idiots to kiss, so he starts hardcore flirting with Kane. Sharpy's wife is such a BAMF in this too, I just. asjdlkfjlad
On A Generous Sea by zubeneschamali: Jared/Jensen (RPF SPN AU). Oh wow it's been a while since I've read J2. But this was really, surprisingly good? Fairytale-esque and atmospheric and tentacle porn, seriously, a shockingly good combination.
That Light That Takes You Home by torakowalski: Benji/Brandt (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol). So I watched this movie again the other day and it left me wondering if there was good fic of Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner's characters bumping faces and LO! THERE WAS AND IT WAS GOOD. Especially this one, which is nice and canon compliant and achey in the best way.
Il est bon, l'enfant by toomuchplor: Arthur/Eames (Inception). MORE STEINWAY! \O/ And wow this one is packed full of snark and emotions, and it's just. It's really really great, okay, even though I am never going to be a person who understands absurdist opera the author made me feel what Arthur was feeling and it was a whole lot of love.
Fireman Derek's Crazy Pie [Cheeseburger Baby] by owlpostagain: Derek/Stiles (Teen Wolf). I've mostly fallen off the bandwagon on this pairing but this fic was super cute and super funny and made me crave pie and cheeseburgers like a son of a bitch.
Anywhere on this Road by sineala: Marcus/Esca (The Eagle). if you've ever wanted to read the movie from inside Esca's head with bonus canon slash? This is your fic. GOOOO.
ho'okane by siria: Danny/Steve (H5O). God, I've mostly stopped reading/watching this show too, but sometimes there's a fic so good you just want to clutch it to your chest and wail Y U NO CANON. This was perfect perfect perfect marriage of convenience fic, omfg.
Real Worlds by salieri: Fraser/RayK (due South). I have no idea how this got so lost in my tabs, but do you remember Real Boys I rec'd a while back? Where Fraser is an android and RayK is the futuristic cop who loves him? This is the sequel. RUN, DO NOT WALK.
aaand now i have to go make lunch and then teach 3rd graders for half a day. wooooo.
