Man it's been a while since I've felt like making a reaction post to Supernatural. BUT THIS EP.
HOW SO CUTE??
I'm actually pretty terrified about how it translates with Actual Jewish People, because wow does spn have a shitty track record with religions other than Christianity. BUT OTHER THAN THAT.
SO MANY JUST. GREAT LITTLE MOMENTS? Whoever directed, A-FUCKING-PLUS, dude. The reaction shots, Sam warming his hands over the dead nazi's burning corpse, the Dean eating a thing part, Dean playing with the sword, Sam geeking out and gazelle-ing up a million stairs in the library, Dean's reaction to being flirted at by a guy--
(By the way, my mom's word for word response to that was "Wow, Dean sure is homophobic for a guy who's sleeping with his brother." On the one hand, W H A T, HOW HAVE I ACCIDENTALLY INCEPTED HER INTO WINCEST BEHIND MY OWN BACK? On the other, that didn't come across as homophobic to me, more like incredibly flustered and thrown off his groove.)
Also, little bit shipping baby!Rabi/his Gollum. I can't be alone in this. Raise your hands, you know you're thinking it.
ALSO, DID I HALLUCINATE THE PART WHERE SAM ASKED DEAN TO GET NAKED.
I looooooove that they have a bat cave and listen to cheesy old music on records, I love that Dean loves it, I love that they installed a mini-fridge, I love that Sam got to say "Son of a bitch," I just loved a lot more than I didn't in this episode and it was a really great change, show, thank you *HUGS IT*
In other news, I was kind of laid up toady--I fucked up a muscle (or twenty) in my back bad enough to make me nauseous, partly because I couldn't sleep and partly because my brain couldn't figure out where the pain was coming from and decided to make all the things hurt! Somewhat better now after the chiropractor but not all the way gone. :///
Aaaand one of writing club thinks there's a thing I should submit my novel to but I'd have to get it done by 3pm Saturday? I AM GOING TO DO MY BEST. AND PROBABLY FAIL, BUT I WILL BE CLOSER THAN I WAS BEFORE.
