MERRY FLISTMAS!
Okay so a bunch of things to tell you! So many that I'm going to make a bulleted list:
<> leupagus incepted me an waldorph and Sam H into doing a podcast of Hobbit Feelings. It was 8am my time so my voice is kind of low and gnarly, but yeah! Everyone else is very intelligent and articulate and insightful, so you should liiiiisten to ittttt
<> Christmas Eve turned Mexico themed when we realized that we'd bought each other all the makings of margaritas (including cactus-stemmed margarita glasses) for Christmas--sooooo we, uh, drank. A lot. Very quickly. Before dinner. Mom and I wound up crying laughing when I tried explaining to her that I shouldn't eat soup, "it's already pre-digested." And I vaguely remember throwing a christmas tree ornament at my other brother (it was very small and plastic) because it looked like Santa was giving a star a bj
<> Neon green margarita rimmer. ...That is all.
<> my bff* gave me a cocktail shaker! Which she covered in orange glitter! I probably haven't swallowed that much glitter since I was a kid.
<> Then we watched Muppet Christmas Carol (and started shouting "MOTHERFUCKER" at the end of every line). And then O Brother Where Art Thou, because reasons.
<> Alllllmost threw up. Almost. But then I thought "No I shan't it's Christmas" and refused. (So far I've never drunk enough to be sick! Trying to keep it that way!)
<> Actual Christmas day...let's see. Lots of stuff! Good food, good times! An uncle got me Cloud Atlas (the book), but all I've heard about it was the movie was kind of racist? Got a couple T-shirts (one that says "Ask me about my book" and one that says "Grammar Police"), and some CDs, and cute earrings, and warm socks.
<> My sick dog seems to be feeling a lot better (*fingers crossed!*) That's all I really wanted for Christmas as sappy as it sounds.
*I gave her hand-made soap in the shape of a cupcake. ...I really hope she doesn't take this as a sign that i want her to literally rub food all over her body, um.

I'm just. I'm so upset. If they had to end it that way, why couldn't we get one scene after the credits where we see Arthur sitting at a table in modern Wales somewhere, sipping coffee and laughing with Gwen and Gwaine and Lance and all the knights, and then he looks up as the bell rings on the door of this noisy cafe and there's Merlin, young and world weary, backpack slung over his shoulder, slumped with defeat, and he raises his eyes to the menu and they just...catch on Arthur's. And you can tell Merlin knows who he's seeing but Arthur doesn't, not really, but something pings in his expression like a good feeling, this is someone he wants to know, and then Merlin takes a slo-mo shaky breath and then...face to black.
Motherfuck, BBC, you OWE US THAT

Haven't watched this one yet either, I'm in the process of downloading it. I'm really really really not ready to lose this show. ;___________;
