I had a dream last night that I gave my book to a publisher at Walmart (wtf self) and they were like YAY and published in immediately and i was so stunned and happy and they gave me a copy and i like toddled off in a daze and came across a famous banjo player who was like awwwwyiss, I'mma order ten copies of your book and I was like JFC and then I actually looked at the book and realized my name was nowhere on it and also only the first four chapters were my book, the rest of it was a diet cookbook and I had to go track down the banjo player and explain and just lkfdldf
In real life, I saw The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel yesterday with mom and the bff, and it was actually a pretty decent movie! Definitely the most authentic portrayal of India that I've seen outside of Slumdog Millionaire, and even that was a little artsy about everything. The line in this movie that goes something like, "Rule Number One: There's always room in India" when referring to seats on a bus--hella accurate.
Plus with a cast like Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, cousin Matthew's mom from Downton Abbey etc etc can you really go wrong? ALSO, the two dudes I was tentatively shipping turned out to be CANONICALLY A COUPLE, SO. You should see this movie *smooshes your faces* :DD
