Went to the eye doc. (Doc as in 'doctor' not 'document'...the internet has broke me.) He said everything looks good, Stanley is just a normal little floater, probably bound to get brothers and sisters in the future, in both eyes, and there's nothing anyone can do about it, just something that happens "with age." I smiled and nodded and dug my nails into my fingers to keep from crying, and wore the dumb dilation sunglasses home.
Going to do homework now--wearing much more badass, lime-green, Starkid-esque sunglasses--and remind myself everything is okay. Things could be much worse. Getting over myself in three...two...one.
There. Much better.
