I have a feeling that this will be the year i will look back on as That Year I Thought Parenthesis In Fic Titles Were Cool, but oh well. Ahh, this fic. Notable both for being the one i wrote in a mad scramble to forget an honest to god nightmare aout Dean/Cas, and for a half-delerious with sleep deprivation decision to attempt porn without using the words cock, dick, penis, shaft, etc. Good crazy times.

Sing Me a Love Song [Fraser/RayK - PG13]
Awww *wibbles* baby's first dS fic! I really had such a special place in my heart for this fic when i was writing it; it almost hurt finishing it. Now, of course, there are pieces i would gladly rearrange, and i think i'd add a bit at the end where Fraser sings to Ray out in the frozen tundra and all the dogs join in and it's fucking magic, okay, and i like exploiting my own singing kink. One day i might even manage to steal my mom's Mac and twidle with garage band until i can turn this into a podfic, complete with Marc Cohn singing in the background. One day.

The Moon Wanted More of My Night [Gibbs/DiNozzo]
BECAUUUUSE it was my BIRTHDAYYYY, and Tony/Gibbs was probably the first gay TV couple i ever shipped Out Loud. Actually, my bff just the other day decided to bring it up in front of a group of my parent's friends at a caroling party. Luckily, none of them watch NCIS and assumed one of the people mentioned was a girl. Also I all-but foricbly slammed my hand over her mouth, so. *shrugs*

No one has asked me about the picture i chose for the cover art, and i guess that's good, since i don't have a particular reason for why I used it. I guess i wanted something mundane enough like laundry, and also--i just loved that both of them aren't entirely present in the shot. Sam is in focus, but his back is turned. We're looking over Dean's shoulder, but he's blurry, face turned down and away. And since this is from Dean's POV, and Dean's world is spinning out from under him, I think it works pretty decently.

Snowblind [Fraser/RayK - PG13]
Ahhh this one was fun. And one of those lucky coincidences that Ptarmagins actually have some pretty kick-ass tendencies when it comes to grizzly bears, apparently, which saved me from doing a great deal of research. I wrote part of this on the tour around England with the Type-Eh!girl, which was less of an adventure than i anticipated it to be. Though to be fair, she was probably thinking i was writing in a diary about my deep thoughts and life experiences, instead of porn concerning one of her native countrymen. And she thought i asked about Canadian lingo to be polite. ;3

I Already Know (On With the Show) [Sam/Dean - NC17ish]
This is definitely in my top five favorite fics i've written. The twist which makes it Not Just Another post season five fic was pure accident--i'd already written that Sam was working in a bakery when the finale came in and Kripked fucking EVERYTHING, and i decided to roll with it, and it just. I think it all worked out for the better. Which is what usually happens when one is Kripked. Damn him.
