HAPPY 4TH Y'ALL, FROM ALASKA (and Chris'n'Steve)
This is the view from the house i am sitting:
I was waiting for it to get sunnier, but ach weel. It's not all bad. Maybe later on i'll be able to snag a pic of people setting off fireworks. Because it's not like fireworks are semi-illegal on top of the fact it never gets dark this time of year, anyway.

Oh oh oh. To be totally random and less boring, let me tell you about my mom's reaction to Chris and Steve. Bear in mind that i have no clear idea why i thought it would be a good idea to describe the Chris-And-Steve-Are-Boyfriends Phenomenon to my mother.
Me: --and i guess Chris sometimes gets a little tipsy on stage and kind of annoys Steve, and he's always, like, leaning over Steve's shoulder to watch him play, and kissing his shoulder, and Penny showed me pictures of ths one time when he leaned over and just licked Steve's thumb. While they were playing.
Mom: ....So...they are dating?
Me: No! That's the weird thing--as far as anyone knows, they aren't! They've been friends for years, though.
Mom: Well you know guys can get physical with each other without it being gay.
Me: Licked. His. THUMB.
Mom: Yeah... *quiet for a minute* Remember in the special features of Ten Inch Hero when Danneel said Jensen was so excited to be working with her after being friends all these years, and she was like, "Yeah, cool, whatever?"
Me: *smirk* Yes. Yes i do.
Translation: There is always hope. And thumb-licking.
