I promised you a post about my travels! HERE IT BE, IN ALL IT'S PICSPAMMY GLORY.
We spent...ohhhhh so much time on trains, but at least the view was pretty! SHEEEEEP.
Because i'm a massive dork...
...and because we don't HAVE these in Alaska. London just has so much culture:
BEEG BEN: PETER PAN WAS HERE. *FLAILS*
HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT: SHERLOCK HOLMES JUMPED FROM THIS BUILDING. :DDDDDDDDD
LONDOND EYE: WHATSERFACE WAS IN THIS WITH WICKHAM IN BRIDE & PREJUDICE!!!
BRITISH MUSEUM: WHO PUT THE GLAD IN GLADIATOR? /capslock
Funny story: i took this picture, then pushed the zoom button to see if it was fuzzy. Guess what? It aint fuzzy.
THEY SAY OF THE ACROPOLIS WHERE THE PARTHENON ISSSSSSSSSSSS... /okay, no really, end capslock
Who wants to J2 this? Don't lie. You all thought it.
DOGGEH!!! /...screw it.
Anubis is my favorite, but he wasn't as prevalent as one would hope.
YE ORIGINAL BAREBACKING. TEEHEEHEE.
Here, Arthur, i need you to hold this shield, which is made primarily of paper mache, and go fight that dragon. ...GO.
Also? Wear this midieval baseball hat while you do it. Kthnx.
MUMMEHHHH. I was looking all over for Evie and O'Connel, kid you not.
See? Emo's not just for Greeks anymore!
This was the night we tried to go see Bounty Hunter, but the friends we met up TOTALLY BY ACCIDENT in London had to catch a train back, so we had bagels instead. Also, the movie was sold out. >.< BOO.
Day three, changing of the guard. Boring. BO-RING. We couldn't see, we had to stand for a good solid hour and a half with people jostling us into taking pictures of the tops of people's BALD SPOTS AND. Yeah. Overrated.
But then they followed us to the park, and that was okay.
Then we went and saw Avenue Q, and GUYS. GUYS. GUYS. GAY COUPLE, IN THE BOX RIGHT ACROSS FROM US. APPARENTLY THEY KISSED RIGHT BEFORE THE LIGHTS WENT DOWN FOR ACT TWO AND I MISSED IT, but type-eh!girl saw it and i went, "REALLY?" all cheered and perky, and her response was, "Yeah, i mean, whatever, i don't care," and i was all >.O What? wait, what just happened? Who cares, they are such cuties!! <3
Then Stratford, where we met
pennyplainknits, who was even more of a darling than i knew she would be! It was so, SO nice to a have a guide who could point out things like Shakespeare's Birth Place! So we didn't have to pay $24 to get in!
And then she showed us the cutest little tea shop, where we had SCONES. Scones with STRAWBERRIES ON TOP. And REALLY GOOD TEA. <33333
I'll hit Cardiff tomorrow bbs, i need to get back to Big Bang. AND i have...hahaha AUDITIONS tonight, for yet another conglomeration of plays. Last night went really well, i think, even if I fucked up and started telling about the trolls before i mentioned the magical oil, and another guy cut himself pretending to be an ant on the glass left by the shattered hind leg of the glass figuring that fell after Glass Menagerie, but. You know. Other than that.
Oh godddd, it feels like i don't have any time left here at all. I've already got that itch under my skin going, Grab someone and say "HEY WANNA GO TO PARIS???" Because, seriously. PARIS. D: WANTWANTWANT.
ETA: AND PENNY MADE ME CUPCAKES. THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD I DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO SHARE THEIR MEMORY WITH YOU.
