And i LOVE my tupperware--totally got it at the state fair right before i left. I'm sure it's online SOMEWHERE, though.

It's gooood. I mean, not perfect, but still. PUMPKIN PIE. And i TOTALLY DID, YOU KNOW! ...Not TOO sure if it'll get there unfortunately, the mailman looked kind of hungry.... :/

You know - you actually made me really curious as to how that tastes :D. I hate cooking, but I actually like baking. I know one supermarket here has a whole isle with imported stuff from the US. I'll have to check if maybe they have that filling.

You've never had pumpkin pie? It smells sort of like gingerbread, only less molassessy, and more the consistency of pudding than cake, but still a mix in between. I'd say go for it! I love it (obviously).

Yeah well you know... no thanksgiving, no pumpkin pie ;). We acatually don't really have pies at all. Not in the american sense at least. We have cake that's similar, but yeah. I'd probably have to make the pie crust from scratch at the very least. But that's ok. As I said - I think baking's pretty fun. I just hate having to clean up afterwards.

Well... yes, no... we do have pie. Sorta. If any kind of crust with fruit on top counts as pie ^^. But we call it fruit-cake and it looks and tastes a bit different.

I have had "american" pie though, since I've lived there for a year. The reasons I haven't have pumpkin pie are kinda weird. I was an AuPair and I kinda didn't get along with my first host family. I changed families in the beginning of december, so Thanksgiving was at the end of my stay with the first family. My memory of the whole day is a bit sketchy but basically it was horrible cause the atmosphere was so tense you could cut it with a spoon. Don't even remember if I ate anything.

I think i've heard you complain about them before--man, that really does suck. Especially for Thanksgiving! Bestest of holidays...
