I has Japan!
The interview that I thought went poorly resulted in a job. Starting in April, I will be teaching in Nagakute town, which is just outside of Nagoya, Japan's fourth largest city.
The position is semi full time, which means I will make enough to live on, but I won't be saving much. However, I have three day weekends! I don't mind making 400 less (before taxes) per month in exchange for three day weekends. So I am spending my days trying to learn Japanese again (I stopped while in school), researching TEFL for children, preparing to move, and attempting to wrap my brain around the idea that I am actually going to Japan. because I have a job. and it is in Japan. Japan! Job! Children! Japan! I'm going!
