changes
I gave notice today.
I told the supervisor that I am flexible on dates, so Monday we will sit down and decide how much time they want me to spend training my replacements. I'm not working past Thanksgiving. I'm going to get TEFL certified (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and apply for jobs in Japan. If everything goes smoothly, I'll be moving February or March.
Part of me is really nervous, but most of me is just excited and relieved. I've hated this job so very much. Now I am getting out and going to have an adventure and do something fun, at least for a year or two.
I plan to have an excellent December painting, cooking, and learning Japanese.
And if this doesn't work out, I've saved enough that I am not worried. As long as I don't get hit by a bus while uninsured, I'll be fine.
