7 hours from New Orleans and three years from where I was

The summer is coming to a close and I am opening a very large door. Perhaps it's not so large, it just has a lot of stuff behind it. You know, like when you're 8 and your mom tells you to clean your room and instead you pile all of your toys in the closet and when she opens it to inspect your job everything comes falling out... yeah, that kind of door. Except I'm hoping that the stuff is fairly organized and not too heavy.

I'm in transit to New Orleans right now. I stopped off in Atlanta to stay with Allison and rest for the day. I'm getting a nice early start so that I can move into my apt. at a decent hour tomorrow. I'm so excited. Life is just really good right now. I feel like I'm in such a great place to start seminary. I'm ready to learn, I'm prepared to work hard and get little sleep. I think I'm even ready to never ever ever have any extra money. I honestly think it's something I need to learn. There is nothing that keeps me from smiling nowadays and I believe it's my job to keep it that way. I'm getting ready for the storms though, I'm sure I'll have a few.
