So I guess I can pimp these out, now?
My YAGKYAS fics were Just one Life (Ray/Walt) and The Sound of Silence (Brad/Ray). Honestly, the first one? I wrote it in like, two weeks. Two incredibly stress filled weeks, after realising the original fic I had been writing was a) terrible and b) not going to be finished in time.
The second was a pinch hit with about a week to go. I just happened to have a thousand words of Firefly AU sitting on my computer from, like, a year ago. I tidied it up and added another few thousand words and sent it off in a total rush without getting it betad, and then I spent the last few weeks staring at all the typos. STARING IN ANGUISH.
Anyway. That was me!
I actually think Just One Life is really good, and I think The Sound of Silence has the POTENTIAL to be really good, too. I might explore that 'verse a little more. Also, I only just realised that there was another Firefly AU written for the challenge, and now I'm too scared to read it in case it is better than mine. Oh, the insecurity of a writer. Awful.
Argh. I need to go to work. I just had two days off (in a row!) and now the idea of going to work seems alien and cruel. Curses.
