Castiel is HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahem.
I loved it to death, and it even kept Trav watching until the end (rare). The divisions between Dean and Sam (it feels weird to write "Dean and Sam" rather than "Dean/Sam") are going to be really awesome, because they love each other so much (THE HUUUUUUUG!!) but are finding themselves drawn in completely different directions (Dean and Castiel vs Sam and Ruby). CONFLICT! SEXUAL TENSION!
I didn't like Pam, but I was still bummed that they burned her eyes out. DUDES! FREAKY! But very classical, now she's the Blind Prophet. Maybe she'll be less annoying if she comes back. And I don't really like the new girl they've got playing Ruby, because I ended up really digging Katie Cassidy.
BUT. CASTIEEEEEEEELLLLLL!!!!!! I love him a lot. I love how otherworldly he is! The demons always seemed basically human, but Castiel is very...Other. I hate it when 'other' is capitalised and used that way, but I can't think how else to descibe him! He seemed very baffled by Dean. And very assured in his own divinity and confused by what Dean seems to regard as 'wrong'. "Whaaat? He PRAYED to have me inside him!!" Also - did I mention how hot he is? I hope there are eleventy billion sacreligious Castiel/Dean fics in the works RIGHT THIS SECOND *cracks whip*
Oh! That reminds me - if Sam's fucking Ruby, I hope she's somehow managed to create a new body out of pixie-dust or something, because the thought of him fucking a) a possesed CORPSE or b) an innocently possesed LIVING GIRL is really, really sickening. I hope they don't just gloss over that, guys. Cause, uh. SAMMY. NO.
All up, though, I really adored this ep and I'm SO glad my show is back :D :D :D
In completely different news, I want this swimsuit.
In more completely different news - the Saints play the Hawks tomorrow. Here are some fun facts - The Saints beat Hawthorn in round 16 by around 30 points, and we've beaten them 6 out of the last 7 times we've played them. Also, we kicked Collingwoods butt last week, with Nick Riewoldt kicking 5 straight. I THINK WE HAVE A CHANCE. Remember, folks - we win this and we're into the GRAND FINAL. Geelong are going to beat the Doggies tonight (it's really just a given at this point), so the Grand final will be against the most unbeaten team in the comp, but STILL. STIIIIILLLLLL. *is very excited*
Working the Brisingr release tomorrow, UGH. For a trilogy I've never actually read, I sure do hate those books. And, no. You won't get me to read them. No. Don't even try. I've made up my mind. BAD. We're not making a big thing about the release like we did with Breaking Dawn, though. None of us have the damn energy. BUT. If you want to be served by a fairly jaded bookseller when buying your copy of your sparkly dragon book, come on down to Eastland.
OK. Gonna go watch some more of my SPARKLY DEMON HUNTING BROTHERS SHOW NOW WITH ADDED [spoiler]!!!!!!!
