A Perfect Day For a Wedding...
Saturday was Suzie and Fluffy's wedding, in Jersey, and it really was a beautiful day, it was hot and sunny, and the only hiccup was a shortage of taxi's at the end of the night.
The day started of with Suzie and her mum going to get their hair done, i stayed in and waited for the flowers, then me and Suzie's mum went to get our make up done. The lads were all getting ready at Fluffy's mum's house. After much champagne the other bridesmaids arrived (Suzie's cousins) and we helped get them ready.
All the bridesmaids and Suzie's mum went to the wedding in a Limo, the same one the guys had, we were ment to have an old merc but the driver crashed it into a building site the night before!
The wedding was at this gorgeous place called the Living Legend Village, http://www.jerseyslivinglegend.co.je/, which is just perfect for weddings.
Suzie arrived a little after us in a nice Rolls Royce, i would of took pics of that but Rhys had my camera and he was inside the marquee. All the bridesmaids gathered under the covered entrance to the Marquee and i really had to fight back the tears. The wedding it self was a small but beautiful ceremony, and apparently the registrar was on of their old teachers.
After champagne in the gardens, we were all sent into the hall, all the people sitting on the top table had to stand in a line and shake the hands of all the guests as they enetered. The hall were we had the meal is actually a theatre and they do shows telling the History of the Island. There is also a tour through some of the tunnels, telling history and folk tales. After the gorgeous meal of either chicken, beef, or ricotta, Rhys started his djing in the room before the hall. The room itself is part of an inder the sea exhibit, but it looks more like the inside of the tardis!
Lots of alcohol was consumed, and fun was had, it really was a good day, anyways photo's...
