Jersey
Is a truly beautiful Island. Things may be a litle different than they are on our own isle, but it is truly a magnificent place.
We got there ok on thursday morning, our plane was delayed but only by half an hour, so that wasn't too bad. Suzie picked us up at the airport and drove us to her Mum's next door neighbour Annette, who had kindly offered to put us up for the weekend. After we had unpacked we went round to meet suzie's mum and dad, Sue and Charlie, and steve and declan were ther also.
Suzie's parents took us all out in two cars and they took us on a tour of the Island, and the weather was perfect. We stopped off for lunch at a cafe by the beach which was really nice. Later that afternoon, Suzie went to collect Hendy from the airport and then we all got ready for the hen and stag night.
The guys headed to st Hellier, to KFC, watched Transformers and got very drunk. Us girlies went for a meal in St aubins which was not that good, the service was rubbish, and the food was not quite up to scratch. Then it was off to bed.
Saturday day was quite, i had to wait for the guys to get up then Me, Rhys, Steve, Dec and Hendy headed into town for a wander, beer, then we bumped into Tink, Kenna, Paul and Jen and we headed off for food at an italian in St Hellier (mimus dec and steve), which was quite good, then back to the pub, and then we all got lost looking for this rock pub that was less than 100 yds away.
Saturday was the wedding, i will update that later or tomorrow with pics.
Sunday was quiteish , me and rhys went into town, had luch in the pub, then we went round to Fluffy's mum's to collect rhys clothes and we ended up staying for the bbq and we watched the wedding video. Later we went back to Annettes to pack and we dragged Hendy and Dec to the cinema to see Transformers again as they all said i had to see it.
This morning the plane was on time (OMG!), no delays and we got to manchester early. We have fully unpacked(that never happens), i have ordered Maschinenfest tickets and sent gifts to Suzie's and Fluffy's parents and to Annette for putting up with us for the weekend.
