I hope to give you insight but not what you want to hear. Ah! Romantic Love, if you feel it for a day consider yourself lucky. I myself found it one day almost 40 years ago. It lasted till evening and then disappeared. After that I settled. If I could find someone "nice" who didn't treat me like others had I'd settle.
