FINALLY FRIDAY!!!!
Finally my favorite day of the week has rolled around. FRIDAY!!!
I find myself in the afternoon stretch of the day, waiting not so patiently for 4:00 to get here so my weekend will offically start. I have no real plans for the next 2 days except the KD show tomorrow night in Jonesboro. I need to clean and do somethings around the house...laundry is of the devil, and I hate to do it. I actually don't mind doing it, it is the folding and hanging and all that comes afterwards.
Things are pretty good these days, nothing much going on outside of working and church. Pretty relaxed and enjoyable. I love my life (most of the time). God always seems to pull me thru the hard times and makes me realize what a great life I do have, even tho sometimes I do not pay close attention to it.
Ever notice how when you are at your worst there is someone that is worse off than you? When you think that your life is totally wasted and you haven't done anything worth anything in a long time...just remember a few of these things...
....Joseph was abused by a very dysfunctional family
....Rahab & Mary Magdalene were hookers
....David had an affair and was a murderer
....Elijah was bi-polar and suicidal
....Balaam's Ass was smarter than He was
....Lazarus was deader than a doornail
A little humor, but true statements...when you think you can never live up to what these ppl were, remember they weren't perfect either, but God chose to use them and give them new life! He wants to do the same with you!
