Damn him. My first love. Yes I can say that he was. But we just missed each other by that much.
It has taken me so long to be able to listen to Something For Kate, because all I do when I hear that band is think about him and all the times we shared - especially at those gigs.
Paul Dempsey is playing another solo show soon. I am gonna go. I missed the last one cos I couldn't face it, being there and thinking about him. But I have to get past this once and for all.....after all, he is married now.
So I have made the decision to go on my own, lest I find a willing friend who likes them too, but no-one would get it the way he and I did. But I have to stop thinking about those times now. Move on. Yep. Watch out Dempsey, here I come (and quite possibly with a tear in the eye here and there) but it must be done.
