Say who's house? Say bears' house!
It's official - the contract for our house is sitting on the doormat at home, we exchange next week and complete the week after.
I'm now starting to believe that we'll be moved in by Christmas which is just brilliant. There's still a fair amount to do: lots of changing of addresses and moving utilities this weekend and then packing the following one. But the end is in sight and now the stress will be logistics rather than waiting around.
That's not to say I think we're out of the woods yet but I feel at last as though I can do some serious move planning which I've held off doing (I'm not a believer in tempting fate).
