I have some good news for once!!! The Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, which denied benefits to same-sex couples. I hope that this will be the start of many positive changes for gay rights. I think everyone (gay or straight) should be free to marry the person of their choice. The heat has been causing many problems for people all across the country. Today was the inauguration day for Barack Obama. He was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States & he is the first African-American president.
