So apparently truffle honey is not food-porny enough for "food porn".
I'll try my own journal:
What would you, dear reader, do with truffle honey? I've got a little pot of it, and it's quite expensive so I want to come up with something that highlights its flavors.
I tried it last night over some pan roasted brussel sprouts but had to resort to truffle salt as the flavor in the honey was overpowered by everything else.
I've only come up with two ideas:
drizzle it over goat cheese and serve with crackers
cast iron roasted chestnuts with frizzled sage and butter.
Inspire me.
