More bad, but not terrible, news about my Wunderkatze

So the vet got to take a closer look at Ginger's X-rays this weekend and wrote me that Ginger has a back injury (two of her vertebrae are squishing a disk a little) and her kidneys are slightly disformed, which signals the start of chronic kidney disease :( So the plan for now is just to continue with the normal treatment, and she's absolutely in no danger of kidney failure anytime soon, the doc assures me, but still. My poor little lovie :( I hope she isn't in any pain! It's so hard to tell: animals are so good at hiding that stuff. Now I'm gonna be scared every time I pet her that I'm hurting her. She isn't cringing or biting or anything, so hopefully I'm not, but still. I worry. ::sad sighs::

In other news, we're having a crazy day at work. I think all 8 of us have a migraine :-P
