Happy New Year
It's the beginning of the new year- 2009! From the first day of the new year, which was yesterday, I already sensed that this would be a year of great changes. That is mainly because I am using adult fare now! It was really a rude shock, when I boarded the bus and heard only one "ti", instead of two, that I have already been accustomed to. What a weird way to be introduced into adulthood! Anyway, with that, I hereby announce my end teen crisis. ):
Now I am kind of into Twilight, because of Edward Cullen (cues in drooling), but even so, I feel that Twilight is definitely not in the same league as Harry Potter. Though both have the fantasy element, but Twilight focuses mainly on romance (not that I am complaining) unlike Harry Potter which is more well-rounded. Overall, Twilight is still great. I recently just joined a fanclub of Twilight which is titled "After reading Twilight, I have unrealistic expectations about men". That is unequivocally true, but I have already had this problem way before Twilight, especially after reading regency romance novels.
I actually wanted to post about my new year resolutions, but I saw on Yahoo! News that it is bad for your mental health if you set New Year resolutions. Thus, since I do hope for health, I would rather I am mentally sound as well.
Now that I have done my obligatory new year post, albeit one day later, I shall occupy my time with something that requires less brain cells and thought.
