Mr. M died in our kitchen sink today. He was ancient, like at least 20 years old, and we knew it was about time, but we were too late to take him in to get put down. He'd been looking awful lately, and the fleas must have been making him miserable. He had a tumor growing on his jaw that I think messed with his teeth, and he started to smell ( Read more... )

Ugh, this work thing is exhausting. And somehow I agreed to go in tomorrow, as well as all of next week to work on a design for some questionable business practices. I am here to tell you outside of stupid twitter that something in the toaster oven caught fire. We should have tried harder to clean it out, I guess, or maybe we should just get a new one but whatever. My cat is off at the vet finally. I am really hoping it's just the fleas that are causing problems, but he is really old. x_x If anyone would like to give me something to do so I don't just sit around here freaking out, that would be great. I'm not sure I can bring myself to be productive right now. -_-

Mr. M is getting really skinny really fast. ;_; He used to be so fat and heavy but he's so light now and it's scary. I'm worried about him. T__T I know he's an old cat, but waaah. So, we shampooed the cats today. It was an adventure that took the efforts of three people. They were very unhappy. Max was really noisy and squirmy and Mr. M was quiet and actually behaved pretty well after a few escape attempts. They should be happier now that things aren't biting them all the time though.
