Book recommendations?

So, I've been thinking for a while that I really need to get back into the habit of reading. My brain needs something to do every once in a while, and staring at the internet just isn't cutting it. I can feel the brain cells atrophying as I type this. So I ask you, my friend type people, to tell me one or two books to read, and I will see what I can do about hunting them down and giving it a try. I'm not looking for anything specific, back when I did read a lot, it was mostly sci-fi/fantasy stuff, and had a bit of an affair with some classical literature that I suppose maybe should continue sometime, but I think it'd be good to branch out. It'd give me something somewhat constructive to do when I'm sitting around on campus waiting to go home, too, and possibly help my writing suck a little less as well, you never know.

So, any suggestions? :D;

I suppose I could actually read that last Harry Potter book that is sitting around the house, but hahaha...wow, I actually really don't want to.
