(no subject)
I'm months out of the loop aparently, but I was sad to learn today that Bob Bryar is no longer with My Chemical Romance.
I think in personality, Bob always was a little different than the others, and being from Chicago, unlike the rest who are Jersey boys, there are certainly ways I can see there being issues. I don't think Bob ever really wanted that kind of spotlight, either. It's sad, to me, because I didn't get into MCR until Bob was a part of the group (I wasn't really around for the Matt years) and I feel like he was an integral part of some of their biggest moments-- Gerard's sobriety, and band members getting married and starting families, and the Paramour recording session from Hell. Even though he was a little more serious than the other guys, I liked thinking of him as that steadying presence. And he just looked really good in that military jacket for the Black Parade, and I'm shallow, ok?
Best of luck in whatever you're up to now, Bob! (but, sorry-- you're not free from the MCR slash universe. I still think you and Ray are adorable.)
