SORT OF FIC: ASSORTED DRABBLES

Dec 13, 1989 17:22

The 10 Songs Meme
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

01. KISS ~KAERIMICHI NO LOVE SONG~ - TegoMass [Jin/Kame]

They walk along the path they knew at heart. Jin could still feel a goofy smile on his lips after Kame told that hilarious but totally pointless story. They reach the road leading to Jin's house and Jin stopped in his steps and waved goodbye to Kame.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow at practice," Kame grinned.

"As always," Jin rolled his eyes. "Take care on your way home. I wouldn't want to miss you tomorrow."

"You won't" Kame assured. They were both laughing and it's stupid but then Jin hugged Kame and Kame's lips lightly touched Jin's cheek. They pulled away, flustered and shocked but then they started laughing again.

Kame was grinning all the way home.

02. BUTTERFLY -Akanishi Jin and Ueda Tatsuya [Sho/Jun]
[Note: From the line "Right now our greed still exists between us", why I didn't write about butterflies, IDK.]

Sho felt stupid but somehow he wanted Jun all to himself right now. He got extremely annoyed when Aiba placed his hand around Jun; when Ohno was discussing something with Jun (they looked like they were having too much fun); when Nino was arguing with Jun. Sho was too irrational to understand this. He had no idea why he's feeling this way.

Jun noticed this, as he caught on easily when it came to these things. The younger man agreed when Sho offered to watch DVDs over at his place. Sho thought Jun took pity on him, which is why he accepted the invitation.

When they reach Sho's place, Sho went to prepare some DVDs but then he glanced at Jun and Jun had already unbuttoned his shirt and was grinning smugly at him.

"I'm all yours."

03. HITOMI NO NAKA NO GALAXY - Arashi [Koyama/Shige]

"Shige, this is so you! I mean, the planetarium? Of all places?"

Koyama laughed as Shige flushed beside him. They had their day off today and on a sudden impulse, Shige invited Koyama out. And now, here they were.

"What? The last time we went you said it was fun,"

"We were like sixteen then." Koyama reminded. "Or at least I was. I think I was sixteen then."

"You don't even remember," the law student crossed his arms and stalked off to the solar system mobile at the corner of the room.

"O-oi, Shige, wait! I was kidding!" Koyama yelled (quite rowdy, that guy) as he caught up with him. He saw Shige frowning at the planets suspended by a piece of string. "I'm sorry. Hey. Oh is that the planet with rings? The prettiest one? That's Mars, right?"

Shige gave him an incredulous look before bursting into laughter.

"You are so stupid."

04. KESENAI TSUMI - Nana Kitade [Jin/Kame--although they're kind of hating each other here HAHA]
[Note: Kesenai Tsumi means "Un-erase-able Sin." XDDD]

Their eyes meet and then glares started to form. They were quite sure that deep inside them that they hated each other, for a reason why--some fight neither of them remembered. Kame acted cool. He interacted with Jin when deemed necessary but otherwise, the pair didn't even liked sharing eye contact.

Jin did the same thing with Kame and that made the whole situation easier for the both of them.

Sometimes Maru or Koki would try to coax them to make up because it was so obvious that they had a problem but neither will budge. After all, for the both of them, the other committed a sin, and unless he doesn't apologize for it, nothing will happen. Even if nobody knows what they should apologize for.

05. PEACEFUL DAYS - KAT-TUN [Jun/Nino but kind of GEN]

"Want coffee?" Jun offered and Nino agreed.

Nino brought his DS with him and Jun brough his script. They sat on a secluded table, in the corner of the shop, not minding the stares being given to them by people. They were absorbed in their own thing--DS for Nino, script for Jun. Once in a while, they would sip at their coffee mugs and Nino even ordered cake.

It was a nice quiet day.

Amidst all the DS-playing and the script-reading and coffee-drinking, Jun and Nino exchanged smiles. Aiba caught up with them soon after. How he knew they were there, nobody really knew. But he started talking excitedly and nobody cared anymore.

06. READY TO FLY - Arashi [Jin/Ryo (!!)]

Ryo loved his freedom. And so did Jin. They didn't drag the other down. They teased each other mercilessly, but they were boys and that's what boys do. But teasing aside, Ryo and Jin understood each other. Very well. Sometimes too well.

They craved for that sense of freedom, not being obligated to do anything, to do what they want. This is why they like to spend most of their day offs together.

Ryo feels that Jin knew how he feels exactly, and he's quite amazed by that. But he never told Jin. Not only will it inflate his already large ego, but it might ruin the facade of freedom they unconsciously built for themselves. And that is the last thing Ryo wants.

07. TOCHUUGESHA - Arashi [Arashi GEN]

When the van Arashi was in experienced troubles, everyone wanted to help. Sho volunteered to go first but it turns out he knew nothing about how to manage cars like these. Ohno surprisingly pointed out something complicated about the engine. The rest had no idea.

They were headed for a province for a shoot and their cellphones had hard-to-catch signals. The staff member with the five was panicking, together with the driver. But the whole of Arashi somehow remained calm.

"This feels good, doesn't it?" Aiba grinned, as the five of them stand by the deserted road--save for their van. The breeze played with their hair, carrying the scent of summer.

"Mmm." Nino agreed, closing his eyes.

Several minutes later, another staff car came and they apologized profusely to the group. The five had no idea what they were apologizing for. Stopovers were always something that they liked.

08. WAHAHA - Kanjani8 [Kanjani 8 GEN (!!)]

"PAAAAN!" Maru exclaimed happily.

And yet nobody in the Kanjani 8 dressing room reacted. Maru went to Subaru first, who was kind of dozing off and reading a magazine at the same time. He didn't notice Maru and his "PAAAN!" exclamation, which Maru repeated helpfully, in case Subaru missed it. This repeated itself, with Yoko who was just staring at his DS, with Hina who was fiddling with his cellphone, with Yasu who was writing something, with Tacchon who was idly eating snacks, and with Ryo who was sleeping.

Maru frowned. "Oi, I said 'PAAAN'."

Still no response.

"I said 'PAAAN'" Maru said again, looking around the room. Nobody seemed the slightest bit interested. "Paaaaa~an." he tried again.

But still nothing. Something happened, obviously. An evil spirit has possessed all of Kanjani 8--except Maru. The evil spirit got all of his evil spirit friends and they had a possession party. What is the world coming to.

"It's just one of those days, Maru." Yoko finally said.

09. MY GENERATION - YUI [Sho/Jun]

Jun stared at Sho's presents for him. They were colorful Pokemon figures--that was Mewtwo right there. Jun gave Sho a weird look, to which Sho grinned at.

"Sho-kun. I'm sixteen now, you know." Jun replied, kind of in a patient way. As if he was talking to someone with lesser intellect., which is definitely not the case here.

"Well. They're, you know, cool." Sho shrugged. "I think they're cute."

Sho and Jun squinted at the assorted Pokemons (Sho bought quite a lot). Jun picked the Pikachu one up and made it stand on its feet. Then he shot Sho a pointed look.

"Well, you can always use them for target practice." Sho smiled grimly.

"True, true. What an amazing gift, Sho-kun."

"I try," Sho beamed.

10. YOUR SONG - Arashi [Jun/Nino]

Jun came over early that day for work. He thought he'd catch Sho in the dressing room, reading the morning paper or something. Instead, he found Nino there, writing something urgently on a piece of paper. The younger man approached him carefully, after setting his things down. Nino doesn't look up. Jun thinks that this is typical.

"Ohayou," Jun finally said.

"Ohayou," Nino mumbled back, still writing.

"Is that for work?" Jun peered at the paper, but he couldn't make out the words. What the heck was Nino writing?

"Not really," Nino said off-handedly, still writing.

"Personal?"

"Kind of, yeah."

"Mmm." Jun said, leaning back on the couch. He still kept his eye on Nino though. Damn, he was curious. Finally, Nino stood up and tossed the paper to Jun. Jun scrambled to catch it. "What the--"

"Something." Nino said. "For you."

Jun saw song lyrics.
