In which L becomes, in his own way, a party planner.
(Still need to track bulletin posts and fill in thread summaries.)
L essentially spent the whole day attempting to engineer the delivery of invitations to his meeting. I tried to leave it open to other muns as to when their characters would have received them, IC-ly.
First Shift: Javert: Breakfast. Not bashed by the minotaur after all.
Second Shift: Prowl: A meeting in the Courtyard. L speculates about the location of Landel's office and learns that Prowl's name is James.
Third Shift: Meche: Lunch turns into an interrogation. L likes Meche and tries to probe to learn how useful she might be.
Fourth Shift: Skipped posting this shift. L took his shower, then spent some time distributing summonses to his meeting, which he was keen to keep off of the bulletin board.
Dinner: Abe Sapien: Discussion of the Death Note. Also, if L sees Light in the Institute, he will put a message on the bulletin board for Abe: Koos van der Merwe is here. He hopes to use Abe's psychic abilities to support his suspicion of Light's guilt. Abe, in the meantime, is interested in the workings of the notebook, and reveals a little bit more about his own nature. (still backthreading as of NS49, orz)
Night Shift:
M25: Rather than leaving his room, L hosted a meeting. He had invited Abe, Lunge, Howl, Indy, and Javert, but Lunge didn't make it, because he was taken for a "sleep study" (M-U). L presented his developing theory about the Institute and suggested a loose collaborative alliance. There was generalized agreement, aside from some protest on Indy's part, but no time for concrete plans. Javert agreed to provide transcripts of old Intercom and radio business, and as much of Edgeworth's notes as he had access to. The group also reacted to Landel and Jill's back-and-forth over the radio and the Intercom.
(Note to self: if she's not in the Institute, how does Jill hear Landel's Intercom announcements? Double-check, but I think he says during NS47 that he's also broadcasting them?)
