Edgeworth waited outside the cafe, and took slow, even breaths. He couldn't put off seeing them for any longer, and thanks to the nightly curfew, going out to one of the bars was out of the question. It's not that difficult, he reminded himself. All he was doing was meeting some old friends. Nothing more, nothing less. And besides, considering recent events, somebody had to keep an eye on them, especially with Wright's "practice".
Breathe in. Breathe out. It's simple. Unconsciously, he raised a hand to scratch at where stitches on his face itched, before he grit his teeth and moved it back to his side; honestly, that was such a childish thing to do. Edgeworth hmphed, and continued to watch the street for signs of the other two.
