I got a call from KT around 1am informing me the world was shellacked in frozen water. I went for a walk outside and discovered fine examples of tiny icicles on many tree branches. Roadside puddles were still completely liquid. The temperature was a few degrees above freezing, but it's dropping. Other parts of the the city may already be much cooler.
It will rain again before morning, so now's the time to actually worry about the cold. Yesterday was just a 'warm up' to the real main event.
