I laugh when people complain about how 'historically inaccurate' Merlin is. Because there being dragons and magic doesn't clearly make it an AU. Honestly, if something doesn't claim to be a documentary or historical fiction, I couldn't care less.  I think it's funny how elementary, junior high and high school is all about telling kids that all opinions are equal, but college finally comes out and tells us the truth; "Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that does not mean that all opinions are equal.
