Storm Front by Jim Butcher, AKA the first Dresden book. It's not what I would call a classic novel, but undeniably fun, especially when our protagonist decided to blow some shit up in a magical fashion, and with a whole lot of plot threads that all come together by the end. This morning I went to the local's farmer's market and picked up some fresh apricots. Combined with the fresh nectarines my mom sent me, I am in tree-ripened-fruit heaven. ^___^ Some of the nectarines and some peaches I had lying around are currently in the oven, baking to form a cobbler. ^__^
