I just spent the past 2 hours trying to get my iPod to work. No luck. Has the same problem Lucy's does. Just keeps telling me to go to the Apple support site and then does nothing else. I restored it and that did nothing. Any tips? Anything? I should go to homework and forget about it but I'm gonna go crazy if I don't have it - I have become totally dependent on my iPod.
If I have to get a new one, I'll try a 40GB. Same generation or whatever - I don't need any stupid photos or anything else fancy. I would like to try a different kind of MP3 player, but I want something that'll work easily with my iBook and I dunno what else would work so seemlessly. Still, could use better battery life.
I've had the thing a year and a half. I guess that's not bad. But still, it pisses me off.
ETA: Wait, nevermind, it works now? I don't know. I just left it and I went back to it to see if anything'd changed and it did a little reboot thing and then I connected it and it acted like a new iPod/restored iPod. Weird? It'll take forever to load 15GB of music back on there, but I guess it works now. When it does really die, I think I'll get a 40/60GB so I can really load all my shit on there.
ETA: Just kidding, it is broken.
