not so much vaca
Big ups to all my friends around the country. For those in the snow/rain downpour, I feel for you. Hope you guys can keep warm. If it makes you feel any better, my brother up in Seattle is the only one of his friends with power last weekend, so he had a bunch of friends stay over. His neighbor had several trees fall down in the yard, and it took the neighbors over six hours to get the yard so that you could walk through it. Another neighbor down the street had eight trees fall on top of his house. Crazy.
As for my own gripe, I thought I had yesterday and today off of work, but in fact, I'm here at work right now (well at least in the location of work). I thought that my vacation started yesterday, according to the work calendar. However, I found out on Wednesday that it was my BOSSES who had the vacation begin yesterday, and they needed me to do some stuff yesterday and today. So here I am.
The good side of this is that I get paid for my unfun time, you peeps in various parts of the country just get to shovel your way out of it. I send my love that way, especially to Christian and Adam in Denver.
