Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  Or a great holiday weekend if you don't celebrate it.  ^_^;  Mine went very well, all things considered.  First of all, the most important part: the stuff I got!
  • A Nook Tablet!  (*insert AW-YEAH.gif here* XD)
  • This hat. (I suck at taking photos of myself, but that's beside the point.  Apparently my parents bought it while we were in Mystic this past summer, and managed to keep it hidden from me the whole time.  I guess I'm not as perceptive as I'd like to think I am.  :PPP)
  • This jacket, which I found out about thanks to Tumblr.  We ordered it through Amazon not too long ago, and it won't be coming in for a while yet, so I won't know how it fits me until I do.  But whatever, I'm excited.  *_*
  • A light sweater and jacket (for cool-but-not-cold days)
  • An electric trimmer/groomer
  • Richard O'Connor's Understanding Depression (thanks mmouse15 for the rec!)
  • The Smart Pasta Cookbook
  • A book journal (even though Goodreads already serves that purpose for me, but oh well 8D)
  • Some Burt's Bees products, and a lipbalm which isn't Burt's Bees but is close enough ^_^;
  • Chocolates from Russell Stover, Lindt, and Ghirardelli
  • $125 in Barnes & Noble gift cards (like I need any more books!)
  • Christmas cards from kattidya, twilit_wanderer, crazedwolf, and cloud_sama.  Thanks a lot guys!  :D
So yeah, I didn't make out too badly.  This definitely was a good Christmas overall -- nothing really eventful happened, just going to my aunt and uncle's place on Christmas Eve and having my other grandmother over for dinner on Christmas.  I didn't get a good night's sleep so I was pretty wiped for much of Christmas Day, and pigging out on ravioli, lasagna, ham with pineapple, duck salad, stuffed mushrooms, mini kielbasa in BBQ sauce, Lupini beans, torrone, brownies, and other assorted foodstuffs didn't help much either, enjoyable as it was.  :B  It was pretty low-key, which means no overdoing it or having to interact with tons of people I don't know or needless stress; in a lot of ways, I prefer that.

Of course, my dad just had to get sick, which means I'll probably end up getting sick within the next few days.  Great.  :/

Other than all that, the fact that I'll be working at my mom's workplace later this week (ugh), and a couple of other things I'm probably forgetting, that's about it from me.  How did everyone else's weekends go?
