Carly began contractions early yesterday morning (15th). They lasted all day but didn't progress much. Then at 10pm she had noticed Ryan had stopped moving for a while so rang the hospital, who said come on down and we'll put you on the CTG. She was on that for a while, baby doing fine, mum bored and fed up and scared and excited and hurting! At 2am they needed the delivery room she was in because they had an influx of babies wanting to come out, so they said she'd be moving to the ward upstairs. She asked if she could go home instead to get sleep in her own bed. As baby was doing fine, they agreed so she got some painkillers and sleeping tabs and macdonalds and off we all went for our own very beds.
