BTW, my family and I were travelling in Scotland when that film came out. I remember that we went to the local cinema to see Blazing Saddles - only to find that I was considered far too young (by Scottish law) to be allowed in! So we went to see Paint Your Wagon instead. Go figure the logic that says polyandry was a more suitable subject for prepubescents :-)
Anyway, in a nutshell that's why Blazing Saddles and Clint Eastwood will always remind me of bonnie Scotland ♥
