oh Q, where is thy squee?

so, only a week to go before a brand new shiny doctor who special. and i feel myself strangely...eh. i mean, the new companion looks incredibly awesome, and it looks proper scary and all, but still, just...eh.

part of this is doubtlessly because i'm saving all my squee for the master, true; and part of it is knowing who's writing it...but i had this same apathy at the beginning of s4, and donna turned out to be awesomer than awesome itself.

of course, i had it before the other specials, too, and they really...weren't.

otoh, here IS something happening in a week's time that i find myself tremendously squeeful about:
