heat wave: day 2
forecast 99 today. it was 103. at 11pm, it was still 88 degrees outside. right now, just after midnight, it's 84. to put this in perspective, the average *HIGH* temperature for this time of year is 81 degrees.
at 3pm it was still slightly cooler inside my apartment than out. at 6pm it was about even, and at 9pm it was hotter. still is. i had some relief for a few hours because i had the club room reserved and watched chicken little on the disney channel. pretty cute film.
this wasn't even the worst day; they're forecasting tomorrow at 104 and wednesday at 105 (though at the rate it's going, i bet it'll be 107). still in the hundereds on thursday and friday.
what did i fucking do, universe??? *shakes fist*
