Party Time

Friday night was my work holiday party. It was a lot of fun. We did a potluck, where everyone brought something. One of the MHT's brought delicious, delicious chicken wings that were *amazing*. The JHL person at your party - was it maybe Wendy? I think she came from Roxborough...

Did you like Rogue One? I haven't managed to see it yet, so no spoilers, but I hope you enjoyed it. :)

Three parties is a lot, even when you enjoy it and the people you're with. It leaves very little recovery time. For an introvert, that's just brutal. But even an extravert (or someone in the middle of the scale) would need some physical recovery time from staying up a little later, talking a lot, etc.

Plus you're adjusting to change on about a million different levels - marriage, trying for a kid, just left a job, starting a new one, absorbing a ton of new information, and recovering from doing two jobs for a while, and creative pursuits in the middle of all of that. Any one or two of those would be an entirely understandable reason for feeling out of sorts. You're taking them all on.

Maybe? ^_^; I am *so* bad with names.

I did enjoy it, quite a lot. And no, no spoilers, especially not for something so new. I do think it is the second best of all eight so far.

Thank you for reminding me about that. I had forgotten that they recommend that people should only have one major change in their lives per year, and I have many. o_O You're right. No wonder I'm exhausted, lol.
