Yeah, another post. --'
I'm on vacations so all I've been doing lately is lazying around and watching doramas, movies or playing online cooking games. Turns out that I finally had the time to watch a Japanese movie called "The Rainbow Song". I'm not a sucker for romance and stuff, but I loved every bit of it. Everything! And if I were you I'd watch it asap, 'cause it's really worth it. When the movie finished, it was almost eight in the morning, my cigarettes were all gone and after losing another night of sleep, I decided to drag my lazy ass to the couch and observe the morning sky. Cheese? Indeed~~. But at least my first poem written in English came to my mind all of a sudden. I don't even know if you can actually call it a poem but since none of mine looks as an actual poem it doesn't really make any difference to me.
i love the beginning and the ending
because the colors are so pretty and the angles...
red and blue and green just like a kodak picture...
and among that so flat but straight
i'm thirsty, i'm hungry
i'm in need, i am sick
i'm up and i'm down
nowhere to be found
i love the beginning and the ending
i'm stuck at the start and you are at the finish line...
i need to swallow and inhale you into a better me...
and among that so young but narrow
i am hungry but here
you see so i can't give
i'm up so you're down
you lost what i found
but down at the finish line
what ended was only me
you're still going on
and on and on and...
just like a rainbow
so flat and straight
or an airplane crash
so young but narrow
and chosen by arrows
sweeter than shackles
dancing to your beats
staining my symphony
nowhere to be found
no one's to be bound
Oh, and by the way, it is also posted on my personal blog. Go check it out if you can read in Portuguese or have the guts to go through all the posts trying to find one written in English (I randomly post in English there but those ones aren't really worth the effort ^^~~). xx
