Why am I talking about death at 2:30AM!!
Hmmm....
Why am I talking about death at 2:30AM? Well... More specifically, why am I talking about burials and cremations?
Fortunately, I am young so I don't have to worry about these things too soon, but one question that arose after my discussions about death and the treatment of the body was "What do you think about vertical burials?"
For some strange reason, I "prefer" to be buried horizontally as opposed to vertically; something about standing up for the rest of time just doesn't appeal to me (although, I would rather be buried vertically as opposed to cremated). Even though I would be dead and I wouldn't have much say in my "post-death processing", I don't know why I wouldn't want to be cremated as opposed to buried. Maybe I have a subconscious aversion to fire.
But no matter what way I die or what way I am interred, I just believe that it would be ideal to die with someone else at your side as opposed to going out alone. Of course, stuff like that only happens in the movies or if you are in the epicenter of a meteor strike, but either way... I still think that's the ideal way to go.
And enough of this morbid conversation. I'm still trying to figure out why am I talking about death at 2:30AM!
