Instead of putting a bridal topper on the cake, they're putting the topping on the bride.

I could have sworn I'd moved everything in the bottom of my closet, but I just found it after almost emptying the entire thing. I'd taken out a box, and when I came back in it was lying there in plain sight.

I swear, this makes the whole move worthwhile!

My daughter's stepmother got a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy a couple of weeks ago. I am adamantly "not a pet person" -- but I'm in love! It helps that Bernese is my favorite breed.

Her name is Cocoa, and she'll grow up to weigh about 100lbs.

I'd been thinking that getting some activity might help my mood -- and I got my chance today. My 77 year-old dad, his retired neighbor lady, and the son of their neighbors and I were all out shoveling the shared driveway late this morning. There were only three snow shovels, so we took turns. I shot the photo during one of my breaks.
