(no subject)
This was in this devotion thing I get every day today:
"WE TAKE TIME
FOR GRANTED. WE TAKE THE PEOPLE WE ARE CLOSEST TO IN THIS LIFE FOR GRANTED.
This is a chance for YOU to be in control, for YOU to take some of the
precious time God has given you, to enjoy those that He has given you to
share this life with."
Now whether or not you believe in God, this is a very good point. If I take some time out to hang with my buds or go see my mom or whatever, I sometimes fear that I am "wasting" too much time because I should be doing homework or something less fun but necessary. However, spending time with the people you care about should also count as a necessary thing, even though its also fun. Of course this summer all I will be doing is seeing peeps but in the scheme of things- that is a great use of time :)
Now I am reminded that I should go visit my Grandma soon... and my Grandpa. Yes. Must do that.
