SPRING BREAK 2004 IOWA ..WOOHOO
....sarcasm intended. I did have a good time in sunny, Michigan-like Iowa though. I got to know some of my teammates more, we came up from behind to get 2nd at Big Tens, and I scored (!)
I think it was meant to be. After the prelims for the mile I didn't think I had made it into the finals, but as it turns out, I beat a Penn State girl who was not in my heat by .06 sec to make it into finals. I had no way of knowing that I was going that much faster than her or that that was what I needed to make it in. It was definetely fate. So finals were fun and I finally broke 4:56.
Now I have a few weeks off from meets!! Yay for staying in one place. And next week is Bandfest!! Which is sooooo exciting. I love bandfest!!! :) :)
Well now I must do some hw and get ready for my hott date tonight ;)
