So, yes. It's official. I am now a writer. I make money by writing. (In fact, I've made a bit over three hundred dollars writing so far, although I'm not going to see it until November.) The correct word to fill in there is "sick." It appears to be the season, materially helped by the fact that fienemannia was sick over the weekend and thoughtfully passed the illness along to me. I sound real smart giving writing advice when I'm eighteen thousand words in and still don't have a written plan of what's going to happen for the next however-many chapters. Real smart.

I can't emphasize those two words enough.

I've cut the following entry for being nothing but pointless whining. One could argue that's eighty percent of this journal anyway, which is fair, but sometimes the whole "things behind a cut are things I can skip" aspect is the point. ( Now, on with the show. )

I should have gotten a bunch of writing done this evening, but I didn't. I am very disappointed in myself.

On the plus side, though, I finally worked through one of the big creative roadblocks that was holding me up on Thanatopenia. So at least things should start flowing more easily now.
