About to go to dinner...but have to update about my rafting trip earlier today. It was pretty darn fun going down the Colorado. At first, i didn't think it would be much fun because the rapids were really really small. but then after we ate lunch they gave us a talk about rapids that we were about to do. There was an area called Room of Doom. They said that if we fell off of the raft we would be sucked into a whirlpool and have to walk down the river a mile up mountains to get out. Well, right when we were going past it...a huge wave came up and rammed into the boat. My side started to rise above the water...while my mom's side went into the water. She fell off in Category 4 rapids and was being dragged down the river behind the raft. Luckily, we hauled her back onto the raft and she was so terrified. It was really ironic because she was the only one afraid of falling off and was about to not even go on the trip. After that, we all floated down the Colorado River during some flat areas.
